Your Role and Responsibilities

• BFI/ILMT/Flexera Server Implementations, installing the infrastructure components, monitoring their performance, and performing all the necessary inventory and asset management tasks
• Tool Agent’s deployment support on both bare-metal and virtualized operating system environments
• Tool Server support which generally involves:
  • Installing and configuring the administration server
  • Applying fix packs and interim fixes to the server software
  • Installing the agents
  • Configuring VM managers
  • Configuring firewall rules for the communication between networks with different security levels or settings
  • Overseeing the outsourcing of infrastructure segments, for example supervising the companies that install and maintain agent installations in different geographical locations
• Project management during implementation

Candidate will get exposure to support 1000+ customer globally and would part Global Discovery tools team. We have large Customers on Flexera / BFI and exposure on learning new things is very high.
Who you are:

The position is to support our existing Discovery tools team on BFI/ILMT/Flexera. We are looking for a person having good knowledge on installing / configuring software discovery tools. The candidate will be part of our team and can be located in Pune or Bangalore.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Expert / advanced level of Windows, Linux, AIX skills (Mandatory)
• Intermediate level of Networking, WAS and DB2 skills (Most desirable)
• Advanced level of Tivoli Assets Discovery for Distributed skills (Desirable)
• Advanced level of Analysis and Programming skills (desirable)
• Scripting knowledge (desirable)
• Working experience in Service management tools and processes
• Project Management and Analytical skills to intermediate level
• People Leading skills to intermediate level

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Mentoring other team members
• ICD / Maximo support
• Developing and maintenance of solutions
• Passion to grow into a technical subject matter expert
• Ability to pilot various products for suitability
• Play a role of all-rounder as the job will not be limited to the above
