JOB DESCRIPTION
Econote is looking for a savvy Technical Writer who can flawlessly express technical information through their writing and document all the processes for further reference. The goal is to create and maintain technical documents while clearly showcasing the content through other means like graphs, diagrams, charts etc. Applicants with a strong background in detailed technical explanation and documentation are the right fit for this role. Clean explanation of the processes and organizing the documents in terms of versions will be the primary role of the Technical writer.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY

• Automate the documentation using tools along with identifying and solving errors that arise during the process.
• Develop, write and maintain high-quality technical documents on product, project, component, module and unit level.
• Develop, write and Maintain user guides, online help, release notes and etc.
• Be able to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines.
• Proof-read and polish technical documents written by other teams.
• Research and continuously improve documentation tools, methods and process.
• Create Technical documentation for the product
• Closely work with team to get new documentation work and any other project related work.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Candidate must have degrees of Bachelor or Master of Mass Communication, arts Specialization in English / BE/ B Tech Computer Science / Electronic & Communications / Information Science / Information Technology / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 2 years+ experience in technical writing.
• Worked on least 3+ projects related to technical documentation with the proven and independent contribution to the project.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Excellent English communication skill and technical understanding.
• Creative and problem-solving attitude
• Familiar with the tools like Adobe FrameMaker, Text Editor for HTML, WordPress, Microsoft Visio, Latex etc.
• Ability to work with an engineering team (Developer/ QA) to create customer-facing, user facing technical documentation of various products.
• Skill set to create online help pages for portals of various products, present to and solicit feedback from various engineering, development, and operations teams.
• Ability to work closely with product teams to understand requirements for new products and suggest the best approach for technical communication.
• Willingness to also work with the engineering, marketing, and operations teams or consultants to understand the existing documentation.
• Ability to write compliance with style guide.
• Demonstrable working experience in technical writing of software documentation and Engineering Documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹280,000.00 - ₹520,000.00 per year
