TFIx Project Manager (Remote)

Position Summary

Reporting to:Senior Manager, Enabler Team

As a Project Manager, your role is a very dynamic role. You will be involved in helping TFIx align closely with Teach for India and Phase 4, as well as pick up short-term projects for the Enabler and Program teams. These projects will be quite varied in nature.

As a Project Manager, you will

• Work with Teach For India and TFIx teams for alignment. Some examples are listed below, however, your role will not be limited to these:
  • Coordinate and hold meetings with Vertical Heads
  • Be a part of the conversations and synthesize all conversations/learnings etc
  • Document all learnings and discussions
  
  

• Co-create and operationalize strategy and structure towards integrating TFIx into Phase 4. Some examples are listed below, however your role will not be limited to these:
  • Understand the Scale, Strengthen, Advocate priorities and ensure TFIx is aligned with them
  • Support the team in TFIx moving from a 1 year incubation into three stages
  • Work towards aligning the three stages of TFIx
  • Work with the team in achieving depth in all three stages
  • Conduct studies on successful TFIx entrepreneurs to understand how their fellowship models have evolved post incubation, and bring certain learnings back to Selection and Program.
  • Work closely with the TFIx Program and Enabler team and take up short term projects for both.

• Some examples of Enabler Projects are listed below, however, your role will not be limited to these:
  • Recruitment research for TFIx’s Entrepreneur pipeline
  • Execute stage 1 scope and sequence
  • Visit targeted regions to understand and identify Entrepreneurs for TFIx
  • Fundraising research to identify organizations that align with Entrepreneurs
  • Maintain relationships with existing TFIx and Entrepreneur donors
  • Evaluate and improvise the TFIx Selection Process

• Some examples of the Program Team Projects are listed below, your role will not be limited to these:
  • Design, implementation and analysis of the annual Entrepreneur survey in depth
  • Visit Entrepreneur Partners to understand and document their growth trajectory and feed that back into the design of TFIx support
  • Work closely with Stage 2 Entrepreneur Partners to support them towards launch and strengthening of their fellowship
  
  

As a Manager at Teach For India

• Contributing to the team goals and priorities beyond individual goals and priorities
• Serving as an ambassador of the Teach For India brand and an advocate for our work and for educational equity in our country through both internal and external communication after committing time in our classrooms to understand our work more deeply
• Supporting with key organizational areas such as Recruitment, Selection, Fundraising, Volunteering, Movement Building

Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations

• 2 years of Teach For India Fellowship experience and a minimum of 2 years experience in any professional leadership position
• Experience in driving operations in high pressure, goal driven environments
• Experience of having collaborated effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups
• Experiences and examples of having taken initiative in the past
• Experience of data analysis and Project management
