Job Profile


We are looking for an experienced Growth Hacker/Digital Acquisition Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new online technology publication start-up team, backed by one of the worlds’ most respected research and lead generation firms, head quartered in Pune, India, with offices in London and New York. You will already be highly experienced at generating relevant traffic across multiple channels and converting it into results.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop, launch and manage a plan to target specific audiences, steer them to the website and convert them into subscribers.
  • Build key relationships with influencers, including journalists, bloggers, high profile twitter users, platforms and other sources.
  • Manage all paid channels (PPC, SEM), retargeting, PR and affiliates.
  • Proactively review SEO, keyword conversion strategy and link building strategy inline with growth plan optimisation mindset.
  • Be cognisant of cost per lead per channel, versus value of subscribers, and overall business operating model.
  • Collaborate with in-house graphic designer/website developer for assets required, inline with brand messaging and tone of voice.
  • Collaborate with digital campaign manager to align and understand end client target audience profiles and campaign objectives.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors Degree in digital marketing, or equivalent, a plus
  • Minimum 4 years prior experience in growth hacking, social media, viral marketing, demand generation or customer acquisition.
  • Solid knowledge of all digital promotion and campaign management channels.
  • Good knowledge of WordPress, basic website publishing and HTML.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills mixed with common sense and shrewd intuition.
  • Excellent English language, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a start-up environment (less structured, more fun).
  • Great communicator and team player.
  • Knowledge of publishing industry a plus.
