At present, we are hiring for leading expert with very few parallels in the world, in one of the most upcoming area in ICT space.

This is an opportunity to be a subject matter expert on one of the leading ICT technology. Candidate will get the chance to directly work with the client and participate in innovation management and portfolio building activities. The person would have direct exposure to the client and would be fully responsible for managing and innovating the workflows as a Portfolio Manager.

Since this is an overseas client, the person would be in direct communication with the inventors, he/she would have to take the invention discussion sessions as per US timlines (often as late as 11-11:30 PM).

Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Assisting clients in identifying the value of their inventions by strategically performing research relating to patentability (novelty), validity, freedom-to-operate, infringement, claim mapping, patent portfolio SWOT analysis, monetization support, prosecution support, litigation support, patent proofing, office responses and IP due diligence etc.
• Communicating effectively with clients in determining the scope of research and draft informative reports/deliverables that clarify and summarize search results.
• Conducting long-term patent landscape studies to identify trends in a technology field, delivering competitive intelligence and identifying potential research and licensing opportunities.
• Performing qualitative analysis of patents and patent portfolios from a legal, technical and business perspective and advising clients on the commercial aspects of intellectual property and technology rights.
• Ensuring projects are delivered and completed by the set deadlines.
• Conducting knowledge sharing sessions on IPR, Excel Features etc.
• Providing support in business development activities. Managing key client accounts and building new clients.
• Responsible for overall productivity, utilization and quality of output .
• Keeping a track of competitors’ strategy in terms of following best practices, structuring, client contacts, etc.
• Portfolio management
• Project Scoping and Delivery for projects including Innovation Capture, IDF Preparation, IP Landscape, FTO, M&A due diligence, etc.
• Tracking and co-ordination of IP program functions
