We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development and customization, along with proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript & jquery. The WordPress Developer will collaborate with our design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and functional websites that meet our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, as well as customize existing themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
  • Creating designs on Figma would be a plus point.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement website designs accurately and efficiently.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs or issues.
  • Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving website issues as they arise.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects.
  • Proficiency in , MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and wordpress and jQuery.
  • Experience with responsive design principles and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience with other CMS platforms and frameworks (e.g., Drupal, Joomla, Laravel) is a plus.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce is desirable.
  • Knowledge of web security best practices is a plus.
