Job Role: Lead Hardware Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.

Job Description: We are looking for experienced hardware engineer who can lead, develop and

manage end to end electronics hardware development cycle including hardware architecture,

component selection, PCB schematics, PCB layout, BOM management, Prototyping, Testing and

Production management.

Job Requirements:

• Strong in core electronics concepts.

• Work across inter disciplinary teams to define, design and develop the product.

• Hardware design, system/product level experience, Project Management.

• Product architecture experience based on different SoC.

• Understand product requirements and complexities to come up with reliable and efficient

hardware architecture.

• Select suitable components for meeting the requirements while addressing the key

constraints of cost, size, power etc.

• Proposal & RFQ handling, BOM costing & optimization.

• Experience In hardware/product development, integration, testing, compliance & support.

• Ability to debug and solve hardware issues quickly during testing or after deployments.

• Project monitoring, controls & Delivery.

• Team Handling & Team Mentoring.

• Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal Design Experience for consumer/industrial/medical markets.

• ARM / Microcontroller Experience - TI, NXP i.Mx, Qualcomm, Renesas.

• Experience in High speed design like DDRx, PCIe, MIPI, LVDS interfaces.

• Audio and Video Design Experience - Cameras, LCD, HDMI, NTSC/CVBS.

• RF Experience – BLE, LoRA, GSM. Antenna Design and Tuning.

• Industrial Protocols Experience – RS485, RS232, Modbus, CAN, IO-Link, Fieldbus, Ethernet

• Battery operated product design experience - low power designs.

• Test and Debug - Board Bring Up, Interface testing.

• Knowledge of debugging tools like IDEs, Emulators.

• Instrument Knowledge - CROs, Logic Analysers, Spectrum Analyser, protocol analyser,

vector network analyser.

• Experience in Multi-layer PCB Layout design approach & design reviews, SI knowledge.

• Exposure to design tools – ORCAD.

• Experience of interaction with PCB fabrication house and assembly house for hardware

build.

• Experience of defining and implementing board validation strategy for large volume

productions.

• Design analysis for SI, PDN, Thermal, EMI/EMC, RF.

• Product qualification / Compliances test experiences - CE, FCC.

• Experience in HALT or other reliability testing strategies.

• Experience in quality product release to customers.
