Job Description

Enterprise Applications team
In this role, you will be part of our Enterprise Applications team, responsible end to end for Nokia’s applications’ portfolio, used across all Business Groups and Functions. Our current mission is to simplify and modernize our application portfolio and to transform into a fast moving, product-oriented and customer-focused technology organization.

The Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) Capability & Innovation leader will have deep technology competence and experience in varied technologies & platforms such as Robotic Process Automation (using Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, MS Power Platform, UiPath etc.), Cloud Native Solutions (Google, Azure cloud), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Solutions (using IQBot, ABBYY etc.), Orchestration solutions and other custom automation solutions. S/he will be a result-oriented leader and an innovative thinker with experience working in large matrix organizations

The IPA Capability & Innovation leader will engage with Nokia’s internal customers in various Business Groups & Corporate Functions to identify automation needs that can be addressed through IPA solution portfolio. S/he will be responsible for opportunity identification, funnel building, use case prioritization, business benefits estimation, solution identification and design reviews with solution architects & specialists. S/He will be responsible for conducting enablement sessions and mentoring the team of automation specialists / solution architects.

The ideal candidate will be hands on and possess a deep understanding of IPA technologies. S/he would have a keen interest in other complementing technologies e.g. Machine learning, Natural Language Processing, Pattern Recognition and text analytics.


Job Responsibilities & Competencies

Responsibilities:

  • Engages with Nokia’s Business Groups and Corporate Functions teams to discover automation needs solved by IPA solutions.
  • Owns and maintains automation opportunities funnel aligned with Nokia benefit targets
  • Leads automation solution design in line with expected business benefits and KPI achievement - drives discovery deep-dives, solution design, technical architecture while ensuring that solution risks are identified and mitigated
  • Establish appropriate engagement and relationships with Nokia’s Business Groups and Functional teams for automation discovery and design
  • Conduct periodic product/technology evaluations and analytical assessments to ensure that the IPA team uses best in class & right fit technology products and technofixes
  • Be a custodian of IPA processes & methodologies, ensuring right-fit processes and methodologies are utilized in various stages of IPA solution implementation life cycle
  • Mentor solution architects and automation specialists
  • Conduct IPA enablement session/workshops for various stakeholders/internal customers to ensure they have enough exposure and knowledge of IPA to identify automation opportunities that benefit Nokia
  • Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks that affect delivery. Assist development teams in resolving technical problems

Key Skills, Competencies and Knowledge:

  • Strong technical architecture, design, deployment and operational level knowledge of various RPA, OCR, Workflow/Orchestration, Process Mining and Cloud platforms
  • Relevant understanding of IT infrastructure, network topologies, application authentication/ authorization and virtual server/desktop environments
  • Experience in working with solution architecture of automation use-cases that involve enterprise level applications, multiple systems, sub-systems, and ERPs
  • Experience in leading customer facing discussions and interfacing with Business, IT and Architecture teams. Ability to coordinate with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in identifying, coaching and mentoring high performance individuals and teams (virtual and co-located)
  • Demonstrated experience in working across cultures with sensitivity, partnering, driving with a focus on business impact
  • Demonstrates continuous learning mindset via coursework & certifications beyond formal education
  • ’Start up’ mindset, very ’hands on’, ’get things done’ attitude

Desirable:

  • Certifications in industry leading RPA Products, IDP/OCR, Workflow/Orchestration, Decision Support & AI/ML technologies
  • Certifications in Business Analysis, Solution/Technical Architecture & Design

Qualifications


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor or higher university degree in Engineering/Sciences/Mathematics
  • MBA or equivalent Diploma desirable but not mandatory
  • Overall 15+ years of technology experience with minimum 10 years of experience in architecting, solution design and development of Intelligent Automation solution using – RPA, IDP/OCR, Workflow/Orchestration technologies

  • Location: Noida (preferred) / Gurugram
  • Travel: Up to 15%
