Role Purpose

Provide legal services to in-house functions. To provide integral support in the functioning of the legal department


Scope

  • Drafting contracts
  • Land documentation
  • Handling queries of customers and lawyers
  • Providing legal opinions

Responsibility

  • Drafting employment contracts, purchase orders, CEOs’ contracts, etc.
  • Drafting land documentation contracts
  • Assisting internal teams in day to day legal matters
  • Analyzing the requirements of the customer and offer a best possible solution
  • Ensuring the customer queries coming through the CEM team are addressed
  • Preparing preliminary and definitive documents for new lands
  • Drafting legal documentation
  • Coordinating with outside counsel
  • Monitoring and tracking cases being handled by outside counsel
  • Managing registration process
  • Preparing and maintaining tracker of legal work
  • Conducting legal research and staying updated on the latest laws and regulations

Accountability

  • Ensuring legal rights of company are protected
  • Standardizing legal documentation and templates and keeping them up-to-date

  • No land-related litigation arises after the purchase of land which has been cleared by you after DD
  • Ensuring customer queries are sorted out at the earliest and due diligence is cleared which in turn ensures the payment by customers are in time

Requirements

  • Qualification: LL. B from reputed institute.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Business practices of the company
  • Wide-ranging experience in legal matters
  • Ability to draft documentation relating to all aspects of running the business
  • Experience and capability of managing and guiding a team
  • Willingness to learn
  • Cooperative team player
  • Tactful and resourceful
  • Knowledge of local language (Read and Write)
