Job Requirement
MBA HR qualified professionals with 12-15 Years of overall experience, with very good exposure into Payroll processing, payroll management, recruitments, other HR activities.
Job Role
He / She will oversee and supervise the organization’s attendance & payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. Support HR Head on Recruitment, Training & Development and other HR related responsibilities.
Duties / Responsibilities
Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Ensures compliance with applicable laws, new Labour & Wage Code(s) and best practices.
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
reconciliations of current earnings and deductions vis-à-vis previous month based on the current month input, reporting of variance in monthly budget vs actual payroll processed, advising accounting of payroll to finance department, transfer of funds & credit to employee bank account.
Other Responsibilities
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Ensuring timely payment of statutory dues, submission of monthly/half yearly/yearly tax returns to the concerned authorities under various Laws, providing Form 16 to employees.
Amendments in payroll system, as & when required, to incorporate changes in income tax rules.
Guidance to employees on tax saving.
Streamlining Provident fund process.
Sending routine Payroll & reimbursement reports, various MIS reports like superannuation, bonus accrual etc.
Preparing LTA, Gratuity, Full and Final Settlement workings.
Helping in framing HR and other Policies.
Advising employees on tax & other payroll queries AND Conducting sessions / workshops for employees and explaining about Compensation structure and Reimbursements.
Design workflow for payroll, compensation & benefits as per HR policy Migration of manual processes to online platform / HRMS
Performs other duties as assigned.
