Your field of responsibility

You will be work within the Credit Suisse’s Group ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) function responsible for stress testing which is used for internal risk management and regulatory requirements. This role within the Scenarios Execution and Analytics team within ERM, and based in Mumbai.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for support key priorities of the ERM organization, including process development and refinement.
  • Assist in driving infrastructure automation projects, this would involve working in close partnership with project managers, IT teams and functional leads.
  • Produce and present analysis on a variety of risk initiatives and/or ad hoc requests for senior management and regulators.
  • Produce status reports and dashboards with impactful views of progress on key deliverables. Support construction of presentations for regulatory bodies (e.g., FINMA).
  • Seek to support the development of process and control enhancements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with business partners to provide support and guidance across ERM matters; product and risk subject matter expertise; knowledge on current rule-making and industry developments regarding risk regulatory reform.

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) provides group-wide risk analysis, reporting and control, covering Credit Suisse’s global risk profile, and develops and coordinates firm-wide frameworks and strategy. ERM functions include risk appetite, risk identification, scenario design, stress testing & capital adequacy (e.g., ICAAP), methodologies, and reporting. By working within the Global Stress Testing group cultivate and work with Scenario Execution and Analytics team focused on strengthening, holistic risk coverage and optimize the capital planning process corresponding with the firm’s risk profile.

Your skills and experience

Credit Suisse considers the following requirements as desirable for this role:


  • 2+ years of proven experience in finance or risk-related roles. Credit risk background would be an asset.
  • Preferably prior experience of working with a global investment bank or other similar global financial institution
  • Degree in finance (for e.g. MBA) or quantitative field from a Tier 1 Institute
  • Outstanding analytical, logical, and numerical attitude; ability to analyze specific business problems and propose tenable solutions
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Can-do, collaborative, and positive attitude with a sense of urgency. Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to build and sustain positive relationships with internal partners
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while under pressure and fast paced environments
