What can I expect from this role?

The Mechanical CAD engineer will take inputs from Nymble’s Mechanical Design Team and convert them into the required model & drawings using SolidWorks. They must be good at understanding requirements and converting them into CAD Designs.

Position Requirements



  • Expert CAD Proficiency with SolidWorks including modelling of surfaces, solids, sheet metal, plastics etc.
  • Understanding of basic mechanical components like gears, pulleys, belts, types of fasteners.
  • Understanding of basic manufacturing processes like sheet metal operations, CNC, lathe, mill etc.
  • Experience in creating and releasing drawings to manufacturing vendors.
  • Ability to document all designs in a structured manner.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
