Job Description Job title Asset Performance Excellence Engineer Span Vadodara Function & Role Mechanical Excellence Job Family Executives - Mechanical Reporting to (position) Mechanical Excellence Manager Direct Reportees(position) Purpose Statement To Implement Asset performance review and improvement activities for Speciality chemical process plants. Responsibilities include improvement in Assets’ reliability, productivity and safety performance by Root Cause analysis, formulating Corrective & Preventive Actions by participation in Root cause analysis. To identify areas of horizontal replication based on learnings of root cause analysis and improvement actions.

Responsibility also includes onboarding SMEs to get the insights on high impact or repetitive performance issues. Focused approach on asset maintenance cost optimization. Key Roles & Responsibilities Identification of asset performance issues and improvement opportunities. Conducting and participating in Root cause analysis for major performance issues and failures. Formulating Corrective & Preventive Actions / action plans based on root cause analysis. Facilitating and Monitoring for implementation. Identifying areas of horizontal replication for Corrective & Preventive Actions across AIL and monitoring for implementation. Identifying SMEs for high impact and repetitive performance issues and getting insights on root cause and wayforward. Identifying high asset maintenance cost areas, possible solutions and implementation for cost optimization. To train and Develop People for Asset performance review, improvement and root cause analysis. To explore best industrial practices related to asset management & corrosion control, check their relevance & practicality with AIL requirement & work towards execution. Extend support to mechanical teams related to technical & system aspects as & when required. Job specification Experience 3 -5 yrs Qualification BE / B. TECH (Mechanical) Exposure Candidates who have experience in Inspection / Maintenance / Operations of Utilities / Technical Teams Certifications/Trainings
