Job Description Summary Lead the cross functional team to deliver on all program(s) deliverables within the terms and conditions of the contract and business case. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Owns program schedule and budget, both development and maintenance of them.
  • Manages and makes visible program risks both as they emerge and throughout the lifecycle of the program.
  • Communication and escalation to leadership as issues arise.
  • Expected to facilitate solutions within the working team and get leadership approval or buy in as needed.
  • All contract performance related activities, tied to customer(s) (internal or external) or program(s).
  • Perform as interface between the internal functions, managing the transfer of information and requests.
  • Assure timely resolution of issues, keep the customer (internal or external) advised of the progress of the program, and negotiate changes, variations, solutions to issues.
  • Responsible for adherence to product requirements document, contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract or program charter.
  • May also support proposal and negotiations.
  • Contributes towards strategy and program development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of creating, managing and executing for program scheduling & budgeting
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems within programs, schedules, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers.
  • Takes new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • May lead a large program or multiple medium programs with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
  • Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of wind product development experience (ideally technical development)
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
