We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in networking, including expertise in Cisco and other networking brands. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure its optimal performance and security.

  • Design and deploy enterprise-level network solutions based on business requirements, utilizing Cisco and other networking brands.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum network uptime and reliability.
  • Perform network capacity planning and recommend enhancements to meet future network infrastructure needs.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems, applications, and services.
  • Evaluate new networking technologies and products and make recommendations for their adoption to improve network performance and efficiency.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and assist in resolving network-related issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco networking technologies, including Cisco routers and switches.
  • Familiarity with other networking brands, such as Juniper, Palo Alto, Aruba, or HPE, is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in relevant networking technologies, such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent, are required.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and network security concepts.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or Nagios.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
