Primary Tech Skill:
• Oracle PL/SQL (expert)
• Unix (intermediate)
• Unix shell scripting (beginner)
• Cognos reporting (beginner +) (can be trained)
• Basics of DB architecture, query, and program performance n Tuning,
• MS office (word/ excel/ PowerPoint) (beginner +)

Duties/Roles and responsibilities:

• Campaign requirement gathering, working closely with Cequity team n client, creation of BRD such that the same can be converted into SQL queries for data extraction
• Monitor the application and recommend changes as required
• Use different strategies of database development to meet the client functional requirement
• Responsible for performance tuning activities
• Ability to write complex SQL queries for reporting purpose
• Support day-to-day activities related to database jobs & Unix jobs.
• Analyse and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner
• Provide technical assistance to other developer(s) as needed.
• Being able to meet strict deadlines
• Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
• Investigate exceptions/error logs/bugs and plan for fixing (immediate as well as long term)
• Analyse/insight on required customer data as per business requirements.

Requirements and qualifications
• Having min 3+ Years of IT experience as an ORACLE PL/SQL Developer, involved in requirement Gathering, analysis, Design, Development, Unit Testing, and support
• Solid exposure on SQL complex query writing (optimized query writing )
• Good knowledge on advances analytics SQL
• Solid Experience of creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Cursors and Exception handling
• Ability to write Unix shell scripts.
• Expertise in creating the indexes on tables and partitioning the table for SQL tuning purpose.
• Ability to quickly scale up on the domain and delivering highly efficient bug free code quickly.
• Modify existing codes to optimize Oracle applications.
• Flexible to work as per business requirements.
• Strong Analytical and grasping skills.
• Prepare coding documentations.
• Provide technical assistance to other Developers as needed.
• Being able to meet strict deadlines.
• Having time management skills.
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Tech Certifications is advantages
• BE/BTech/B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
