Role Summary

Technical Support Engineer Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues on Live production systems with usage of tracing/analysis tools. Should be fully process driven and should show keen interest in SLAs, KPIs and customer success.
  • Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
  • Customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Job Requirements

  • Should have extensive experience in ss7, SIGTRAN, RHEL
  • Experience on USSD gw, MCA, VMS, Mobileum node
  • Should have Customer production nodes troubleshooting experience.
  • Can have experience testing of the products or Solution End to End.
