Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities

The Ophthalmic Technician performs a range of duties which includes preparing the patient to see Attending Physician (preliminary exam, medical history, & testing), preparation of examination and treatment rooms, performing basic and routine vision screening examinations, administering eye medications, cleaning and etc..

  • Taking patient medical histories.
  • Instructing patients about medications, tests and procedures.
  • Performing vision and diagnostic tests.
  • Assisting with patient procedures.
  • Coordinating patient scheduling.
  • Supervising and training other allied ophthalmic personnel.


Qualification: Dip in Ophthalmic Technician


Exp:0-2yrs
