Package Consultant: CSOD Functional

Introduction
As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Integration Consultant, you are responsible for providing the highest quality of integration support directly to our clients. Your primary role is to assist clients with the business planning and configuration for integration of the Cornerstone Talent Management suite of products(LMS, Succession, Performance, Recruiting and so on) with third party application like HCM systems(Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP and so on, Udemy, You Tube and so on. You will also facilitate integration workshops around Talent Management best-practices, Transformation enablers.
We are looking for a professional with a proven ability to deliver under pressure and within deadlines; experience in a startup environment is preferred. Performance is based upon project realization, customer satisfaction and product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Project manage many projects at a given time Work very closely with the offshore engineering team to provide requirements in the development of integration solutions
• Create thorough & detailed requirements documents and technical specifications for integration solutions, to provide to the client (for approval) and engineering (for the development)
• Conduct needs assessments of customer requirements, develop scope of work and supporting documentation, to include conceptual solution options, diagrams, workflows, business cases, etc. to support a compelling winning solution
• Assist in training employees on the basics of technology integration and solution designs
• Work as a liaison Consultant throughout the organization to establish best practice
• Use advanced technical knowledge of integrations to write and maintain new/revised manuals, bulletins, implementation packages, and other technical documents
• Ability to create, assimilate, and convey technical materials in a concise and effective manner
• Effectively communicate a solution vision to the team
• Create detailed project work plans from estimated scope of work
• Track project status, risks, budgets and provide in-depth status reports to the Management
• Apply consistent approach and deliver consistent quality across engagements
• Willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 6+ years of experience in Learning & Talent technology platforms
• Worked on 2+ Integration Projects & Implementation Projects
• 2+ years in project management, strategic planning, business analysis, process design, research and competitive analysis, package implementation, knowledge of multiple technologies, client interaction, technical support and interactive design
• Expertise in one or more industries, organizational structures, business process design techniques and development methodologies
• Proven technical background, with experience identifying solutions that integrate Enterprise applications, SAAS or other complex services.
• Key skills and experiences would include working with Microsoft. NET, XML, Webservices, API development, SQL Server.
• Advanced technical knowledge of integrations to write and maintain new/revised manuals, bulletins, implementation packages, and other technical documents.
• Experience with software integrations as a consultant is required: Target platforms or technologies, Microsoft, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Siebel, or Salesforce. com
• Thorough understanding of the project life cycle process to effectively manage through the complexities of the business solution
• Experience in full lifecycle software development process and methods
• Exceptionally strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage client accounts and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience with MS Project and Visio
