Patient Access Specialist - Obesity


We are looking for an experienced Patient Access Specialist - Obesity to support the fast-growing Indian affiliate. The position

As a Patient Access Specialist – Obesity, you will be responsible for

  • To initiate and implement Patient Awareness and Activation initiatives e.g. camps, HCP-PwO interaction, PSPs rollout.
  • Build relationship and partnerships with patients, nutritionists and fitness organizations in cross-functional teamwork with MAPA in order to execute activities for better obesity care on national, regional and local level.
  • You need to develop & implement both strategic and tactical plans for Patient Engagement initiatives in alignment with local and international strategies for Obesity.
  • Ensure strong execution and management of strategy, tactics and project plans. You define pre and post business project KPI’s to focus team on core business priorities and ensure execution and management of strategy, tactics and project plans.
  • Be the internal expert on obesity patient journeys always seeking to develop and share insights and understanding
  • Develop network of dieticians, fitness experts, psychologists, influencers, professional organizations and patient organizations with aim to increase diagnosis and management of obesity
  • Stay up to date on Patient Engagement initiatives driven by global NN guidelines as well as competitors.
  • Engage with Medical, Marketing and MAPA to recognize external possibilities and internal responsibilities
  • Evaluate appropriate use and allocation of resources to ensure attainment of unit, department and company profitability goals.
  • Work closely with sales team to conduct patient awareness camps across the geographies – Work with key HCPs & MDT team.
  • Work according to Business Ethic procedures, local law, Novo Nordisk Way, policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

You are a Life Sciences, Business or Marketing graduate or equivalent with 4+ years pharmaceutical experience within sales & marketing and have experience of working with Patient Organizations / Business development roles.


Any prior experience from handling events is an advantage
