Job Summary
Developing & implementing advanced technology in PCB design solutions for NPI & OTR with accountability & collaborative engineering while dealing with ambiguity & uncertainty

Develop power electronics driver and PCB design, Signal integrity, EMI/EMC and grounding concepts, antennas, Power dissipation, IC Packages to suit the requirements

Develop Embedded software, testing and debugging in C, C++, Embedded C, VHDL

Demonstrate Electronics component sizing calculations and selection, analog & digital circuit design & schematic preparation, Circuit analysis for tolerance, power, thermal & worst-case analysis

Demonstrate the design by through validation includes reliability test methods (HALT/CALT) for PCBs and End of Life calculation

Manage and interact with external contacts and manufactures for prototype development

Prepare Design, specification, debug and support of new hardware platforms

Work closely with EDA vendors to debug and resolve design issues

Schematic design and capture, including part selection and symbol creation

Bill of materials management

Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements

Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments

Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues

Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews

Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor /Master of Engineering in Electronics and Communication or related fields with a 10 + years of engineering experience on multi-layer PCB design and FPGA development

Working experience on IGBT/MOSFET drivers and PCB design with strong experience in multi-level inverter control, topology, PWM strategies

Good experience on C, C++, VHDL, FPGA development tools

Hands on experience with PCB CAD Tool - Altium

Hands on experience in Analog Circuit design of various designs Linear and Switching regulators, LVDS (Low Voltage Differential signals), and analog building blocks amplifiers, comparator, oscillator, voltage, current reference circuits

Ability to troubleshoot and identify coding structures to mitigate latency, performance and maintainability amongst other software engineers on the team

Experience of hardware debug tools and debug experience using oscilloscopes and logic analysers and willingness to work "hands-on" in test labs and Customer sites

Proficiency in placement, component selection and routing patterns to get the best performance in minimal board size and routing layers ultimately reducing the cost

Hands on experience in manufacturing processes, SMT lines and soldering methods like Re flow soldering, wave soldering, Selective soldering, appreciation of signal integrity and design for manufacturing

Hands on experience in mechanical concepts and constraints, good coordination with mechanical Engineer designing the outer packaging of the PCB

Familiar about the relative standards for PCB design

Desired Characteristics

Design and development knowledge in Power Electronics applications (utility scale frequency inverters) preferred

Experience of the full development cycle, from product requirements to production and should be able to lead PCB design in collaboration with global teams

Desire to work on all aspects of our product development, including hardware, software

Experience with system level validation testing

Good interpersonal and leadership skills

Flexible and adaptable to change

Excellent Communication, organizational and personal skills

Ability to work independently or in a team environment to plan and deliver well documented solutions on time
