Credit Decision and Sanction Engineering Lead will be overall responsible for all the Technical and Functional deliveries of Project, Programs and Regular Changes in Acquisition area. You will work closely with Product Owner, Business Analysts, Architecture Owners and Agile development teams to successfully deliver technical change across a portfolio of strategic and legacy applications. You will be a strong advocate of Agile and Lean practices providing coaching and mentoring as needed. This is a hands-on role where your ability to work collaboratively across organization and geography, your problem solving experience and facilitation skills and ability to challenge constructively can make a real difference. You will be a highly credible and trusted partner for senior stakeholders.
 Leading all Delivery Initiatives for Credit Decision and Sanction Team
 Leading and Managing ETL, Web Services and Strategy Dev Leads
 Single point of Contact for Acquisition Product Owner managing all Delivery and Engineering initiatives

What will you be doing?

 Technology Delivery:
o You will oversee all Technical Delivery / Projects in Acquisition Space including Transact to PowerCurve Migration Projects across UK and Germany Geography
o You will provide technically sound solutions for the ingestion, storage and presentation of enterprise data including ETL design, data storage strategies, data access and security.
o You will manage platform and projects related to Risk, Credit Sanction and Decision Analytics and Machine Learning Initiatives.
o Leading and Managing all Engineering Delivery for Credit Decision and Sanction Acquisition Platform(s)
o Leading, Managing and Contributing to Data and ETL Delivery for Credit Decision and Sanction Projects
o Leading Web Services Delivery for Credit Decision and Sanction Projects
 Leadership – own the front-to-back the delivery of complex, integrated technology solutions, with focus on PowerCurve, Risk Decision, Analytics, Acquisition, Big Data, Scala, Spark and Java stack.
 Change Standards - Ensures projects being managed are compliant with relevant governance methodologies e.g. Lean Control Process and Navigator
 Governance and Reporting - establish and run Working Group or Steer-Co meetings (as appropriate). Ensures projects meet the desired requirements of Accountable Executives and that acceptance and handover to business as usual are managed against agreed acceptance criteria and to a defined plan. Ensures that all project status reporting is accurate, informative and timely, and directly provides progress reports as agreed as part of the governance framework at agreed intervals.
 3rd party relationship – maintain and foster productive working relationships with teams across the firm e.g. data providers across Corporate and Software vendors, infrastructure teams, RTB, etc.
 Quality Assurance – Driving quality, facilitating peer reviews and providing constructive feedback
 Managing PowerCurve Strategy Development and Testing
 Requirement study for arriving at set of technical documentation
 Lead and Manage E2E Delivery of Release, Migrations and Platform Deliveries
 Review various strategy documents available within the organization

What we’re looking for:
 Extensive experience in driving technology delivery across multiple applications using Agile and Lean principles and practices
 Experience of working on Risk, Finance and/or Treasury Projects as a hands-on Delivery on large and complex data projects
 Ab Initio Tool set (BRE, EME, GDE, MHUB) Experience
 Web Services (Java, Hibernate, Graph QL)
 Relevant Risk and Decision System Experience with multiple Business and Technology Stack

Skills that will help you in the role:
 Master’s Degree in Technology or Computer Science Division
 Knowledge and/or experience in the Finance reporting – Credit Risk, Risk Assessment, Customer Level Financial Characteristics
 Experience on Open Banking Data and/or Internet of Things related initiatives (Desirable)
 Experience on Machine Learning Platform Implementations
