The Lubricant Supply Chain (LSC) organization is a critical part of the broader Lubricants business, and critical to winning in the marketplace. LSC enables Shell Lubricants as the No. 1 Lubricants company globally, for 14 consecutive year. In LSC Asia Pacific (AP), we operate 8 Blending Plants and 3 Grease Plants in more than 10 countries, support business about 1 billion liters yearly.

The team identifies, develops, and implements best practices based on external benchmarks as well as providing assurance by using the standard processed and systems that have been built as part of the supply chain digital backbone, driving greater data quality and transparency.

What’s the role?

As Planning Analyst – Lubricants, your purpose is to utilize LOBP to maximum efficiency to achieve target levels of output and inventory availability based on the replenishment plan of the DDMRP. The Production Scheduler creates the sequence of production orders on the available resources in such a way that results in maximum output in allotted production time within the replenishment needs as defined by the relevant supply plans.

Furthermore, your duties include the following:

  • Analysis of OTIF and Back Order Lines – Continuously monitor OTIF and back-order lines and will coordinate appropriate actions with respective stakeholders (Production Planner, Logistics, 3P Coordinator).
  • Tail Stock Liquidation – Responsible for driving liquidation of FG tail stock. Person will be responsible to drive actions like redeployment, re-blending, networking to other countries, consumption as flush etc.
  • Coordination with Material Schedulers – Ensure seamless coordination with material scheduler to ensure on-time availability of packing / raw materials.
  • Master Data Management – Manage and monitor master data parameters for GSAP & O8 and coordinate with other planners to get these corrected on-time.
  • Performance Measurement – Publish reports and details of LSC KPIs related to inventory, OTIF, Back Order, BCIs etc.

What we need from you

We’re keen to hear from professionals who have specialized knowledge in supply chain systems, solutions and processes. Also who are skilled in basic leadership & commercial acumen, and can build partnership with business stakeholders to build truly integrated, collaborative and competitive supply chains for Lubricants.

Further requirements are as follows:

  • 3 – 5 years of hands-on Supply Chain experience, preferably in Lubricants.
  • With Planning experience.
  • Knowledgeable in GSAP APO and DDMRP-O8.
  • Proficient at using Power BI & Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Excellent analytical skills synthesize complex problems into clear language essential.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Efficient handling of multiple projects at the same time.
  • Good stakeholders’ management skills and ability to influence without authority.
