This Position exits to Lead Plant in accordance with TQM, plant policies and procedures. It ensures smooth production operation during all shifts in terms of Productivity, Quality, Safety, Manpower Management. and TQM implementation.

Productivity
  • To Monitoring & control of Production planning on daily basis, convert monthly planning into weekly and daily planning. Review of the production status w.r.t. dispatch plan and production target on weekly basis
  • Planning for reprocess material, carrying out RCA, raise MOC & execute all the actions in plant level
  • To Monitor OPE data, identifying the bottleneck of the process based on the Maxpro+ data analysis, carry out technical validation/revalidation with engineering team. Take required actions I,e BCT change, modification for debottlenecking
  • To minimize Change over time, perform decontamination of equipment as per procedure
  • Gap analysis of utility norms, generate the idea & action plans, implement the approved action plans. Train to the Plant personnel in order to ensure smooth operations with optimum efficiency.
  • To ensure the following of the Raw material unloading procedure from tanker to storage tanks. Identifying any abnormality of tankers, appearance of Raw material & take necessary steps to rectify those

TQM Implementation
  • Implementing Policy Management
  • Implementation of Daily Work Management
  • Improvement Management - Identification and facilitation of Improvement Projects and QCC Projects leading to Business Impact
  • Training and Capability Building - Imparting training at Unit level on Various TQM topics such as Policy Management, Daily Management, TPM, SPC, Advanced Statistics, QCC, 5S, Six Sigma etc.

Quality
  • To participate in RCA as and when required, ensure the implementation of the action plan
  • To monitor & control the Key Process Parameters which have impact on Quality
  • To generate Poka yoke, Kaizen for the improvement of Quality & packing system
  • To ensure best quality products are produced without any batch failure

Safety
  • To ensure the following of the Raw material unloading procedure from tanker to storage tanks. Identifying any abnormality of tankers, appearance of Raw material & take necessary steps to rectify those
  • Carry out PSSR with safety team & Safety head. Compliance of point raised in PSSR
  • Plan for non-routine work, PM and issuing all permits, carry out Tool Box Talk on the respective work area before starting work, Continuous supervision during maintenance work, closing of permit after completion of work and keeping record. Issuing permit for height, hot work and vessel entry
  • To ensure Safest workplace and Safety in each and every operation of Plant

5’s
  • To ensure the implementation of tagging system for leakage identification. Ensure the data capturing of leakages. Carry out the CAPA of repetitive leakages. Plan & guide for the production reschedule for action plan implementation
  • Daily monitoring of Choiki and Choisute. Daily housekeeping as per 5S housekeeping schedule. Elimination of Mudas
  • To train & guide the Plant Personnel about 5S system

Manpower Management
  • To take necessary steps to control absenteeism, communicate to personnel dept for any unplanned absenteeism, Manpower management during the particular period of absenteeism
  • Prepare Skill matrix to downline employees & identified the Gap & train them to bridge
  • Imparting training for new activities. Checking the effectiveness of the training during activity
  • To manage manpower and ensure efficient work from them
