Designation: Plastic Injection Mould Designer

Qualification

B.E./ B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech. (preferably in Plastic/polymer engineering).

Minimum Experience

5-8 years in injection mold design and manufacturing.

Technical knowledge of
  • All types of plastic injection molds(viz. hot runner, cold runner, 3 plate, 2 plate, etc).
  • Electrode design for manufacturability.
  • All manufacturing processes related to mold manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge of different plastics and their properties.
Technical Software Required
  • Thorough efficacy with Solid works(Assembly + Drafting Detailing in software)
  • AUTODESK MOLD FLOW analysis (Preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of AUTO CAD
Other Basic Requirements
  • MS word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of and efficacy with the Internet.
  • Team work and team spirit.
Responsibilities
  • Mold design
  • Electrode design
  • Making reference drawings for EDM, Wire-cut, milling, turning , etc.
  • Mold flow analysis (preferred)
