Your Impact:
  • Power BI (Pro, Premium/Embedded, Paginated). Dataflows, Incremental data refresh, row level security, DAX, Power Query, M language, Perf optimization
    SQL Server and Azure SQL DB
    Designing DB schema, data models on RDBMS and DW
    Programming and optimizing DB objects Views, Stored Procs, Functions
  • Azure SQL DW/Synapse
  • Azure Data Lake or Blob storage
  • Experience working with high volume data, large object
  • developing dashboards with advanced custom visualizations , DAX , MQuery , data transformation etc involving performance optimization tricks
  • Integrating Power BI dashboard with charts developed in other technologies (R , Python , API , Javascript , D3 etc.)
  • Knowledge about setting subscriptions , alerts , refresh schedules and AD groups.
  • Power BI, Developing, Visualizations, Data Transformation, Performance Optimization

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • 8-10 years of experience in operational, strategic and analytical reporting with a focus on Data Visualization design and development.
  • Sound Knowledge on Power BI Desktop - Data model preparation, creating visuals/reports and dashboards.
  • Well understanding on Power BI visuals usage in terms of data analysis
  • Working knowledge on Microsoft Power BI Service
  • Proficient on writing queries and converting business requirements into visualization.
  • Proficient in DAX, SQL, Power Query etc.
  • Good understanding on Power BI security model ( Row level security and implementation of it).
  • Good understanding on Power Bi Data Refresh Architecture, APIs etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of traditional Data Models and Data warehousing concepts

Good to have:-

  • Knowledge of Azure Services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DW (Dedicated Pools)
  • Working knowledge of various Data Science/Machine Learning process, algorithms and libraries would be good to have
  • Experience of working in Agile delivery
  • Graduate degree educated in computer science or a relevant subject
