Job content

1) Play a significant leadership and management role in the ongoing development of the Nursing & Allied Health Sciences Programme.

2) Maintain overall supervision of teaching programs and guidance of teaching staff including in-service education of staff.

3) Responsible for conduct of examinations, all documentation work regarding college admissions and play a leading role in the student admission process

4) Promote Career planning services through in-class presentations, student organization outreach, New Student Orientation and in concert with college support services.

5) Direct planning activities & put programs in place with staff to ensure attainment of Institute of Nursing vision.

6) Determines the scope & responsibility of each teaching & non-teaching staffs.

7) Provides an organizational framework for effective staff functioning such as meeting of the staff etc.

8) Provide supervision and mentorship to the faculty team, supporting them in the development of their personal research track records and research impact.

9) Promotes staff participation in research.

10) Provides for continuous follow-up & revision of education program.

12) Assisting in yearly teacher evaluations, assisting in providing guidance to staff and students, and encouraging a positive climate in the college.

13) Participate in the planning of new experiential learning programs in all Institute curriculums.

14) Administrative arrangements for students clinical experience and teaching in hospital and public health field.

15) Generate employment opportunities for students and alumni by establishing and maintaining productive employer partnerships.
