As part of the senior technical leader team at Imaging Business, the Principal Software Architect contributes to the mission of the software function by leading teams on delivery of quality products, innovation and organization development capabilities.

This role requires a strategic understanding of the business, customer/ patient needs, product technology and the purpose values of the company to successfully deliver on the software function priorities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead teams technically to deliver against multi-generational product development plans enabled by a strong understanding of system architecture, Software architecture, Software platforms and the underlying technologies. Ensure software delivered is compliant to Industry/the company Quality, regulatory and security standards.
  • Drive alignment of architecture and designs with specifications of the product(s) by leveraging best practices and deploying efficient technologies.
  • Ensure alignment of multiple roadmaps, architecture and design with those from 3rd party partners
  • Champion innovation initiatives and lead teams to deliver value thereof.
  • Mentor and coach architects, technical leads and developers in developing/improving their technical competencies.
  • Identify and report quality or compliance concerns and drive corrective action as required.
  • Champion continuous improvement activities about software quality and competence development.
