Skills, experience & qualification

  • Bachelors degree in business, engineering or other quantitatively focussed

disciplines. MBA and Masters level degree in Engineering preferred

  • Must have Six Sigma Green Belt certification from institutes of good repute with at

least 5 to 7 years of experience. In lieu of certification, must have at least 3 years of

Six Sigma experience

  • Experience in establishing enterprise wide process improvement program is an

asset

  • Knowledgeable in ISO 9001:2015 and other process standards. Firsthand audit

experience is a differentiator

  • Expert user of MS Office applications like MS Visio, MS Project, MS Excel, MS

Powerpoint and MS Word. Experience in using statistical analysis tools like Minitab

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Past experience in GSCs or BPOs is

an asset

  • Must be highly detail oriented, analytical and have critical thinking skills. Should

be able to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables at the same time, be able to

manage moving goal posts

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full scope of process transitions from documentation to offshore

process stabilization

  • Plan, establish, review & revise KPIs for all processes at the GSC. Achieve

consensus and buy in from appropriate stakeholders

  • In collaboration with Operations & HR, analyze volume data and ensure GSC is

rightly staffed, resources are optimally used and spend is rationalized

  • Responsible & accountable for data collection, analysis, development of solutions

and deployment plans

  • Provide project management & leadership for projects that may involve IT, RPA

solutions; where needed, act as liaison between GSC, external solution providers

  • Facilitate PE workshops to Associate levels, to help identify opportunities, business

problems and converting them into projects of manageable size; where needed take a

phased approach

  • Show passion for problem solving, build trust with all levels of the organization by

showing grit & resilience, think win-win

  • Hire, train & develop the associates on structured problem solving approach
  • Establish & drive necessary practices & discipline to achieve ISO 9001:2015

certification for the GSC within a time frame

  • Demonstrate the values of integrity, teamwork, collaboration & commitment
