You will support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of Procurement & Logistics (PL) Practice approved activities. Executing assigned activities based on the standard procedures.

Your responsibilities
  • Implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy and regional/global Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
  • In accordance with Group PL guidelines and local Division/Business Unit objectives, implements programs to drive improvement in cost, quality and delivery.
  • Managing planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts. Ensuring buyers minimize risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with Company guidelines.
  • Monitoring the Procurement & Logistics processes and activities. Proactively works to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality and delivery. Monitoring and reporting internal and supplier performance (KPIs), quality issues and development actions.
  • Leveraging CIPS category teams locally, regionally and globally to ensure appropriate supplier selection. Defining and establishing local standard agreements with all major local suppliers. Providing and maintaining standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines.
Your background
  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering/ mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in handling sourcing of casting, forging and machining parts.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
