Job Description

Designation: Procurement Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Purchase

  • As per Production plan make the RM & PM Projection.

  • Rate negotiation with vendor and HOD.

  • Issue PO with scheduled delivery date & send it to respective supplier.

  • Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis.

  • Review deliveries against the orders.

  • Track the status of any orders.

  • Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods.

  • Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment.

MIS – Maintaining various MIS for providing support as and when required.

Inventory Control

  • Maintain Inventory Optimization Level as per target.

  • Managing and maintaining the Lead Time for individual inventory.

  • Safety Stock Maintenance.

  • Shelf Life and Slow Moving Material Control.

  • Good Communication and negotiation skill with the vendor.

  • Good knowledge in advance Excel.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Proven analytical, problem solving, Relationship building and organizational skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Good knowledge in commercial viability.
