Product Coordinator is critical for the everyday functioning of product teams and execution of Sprints. They play a central role collaborating with all the stakeholders and syncing the activities of various functional teams, enabling them to function as a single unit.

The key responsibility is to bring to life new product features, upgrades and fixes at desired quality within planned timelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Requirements Detailing and Documentation

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product features and functionalities.
  • Understand and document customer needs, market trends and stakeholder vision for the product.
  • Conceptualize user scenarios, and capture these as workflows and wireframes.
  • Define business use cases and success criteria for new features.
  • Support Marketing initiatives with product related content and updates.
  • Coordinate continuous update of the Knowledge Repository and product documentation.
  • Manage publishing of product Release notes at the end of each Sprint.
  • Project Coordination and Sprint Execution

  • Organize Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective Meetings to manage and evaluate the product development lifecycle.
  • Track and monitor the progress of tasks scheduled in each Sprint.
  • Coordinating with the Engineering team leads to identifying inter team dependencies and proactively ensures that the team receives the required inputs for timely execution of their tasks.
  • Function as a single point of contact for the Engineering team for clarifications on business requirements and goals.
  • Conduct UAT to ensure that the developed features meet the business goals and usability expectations.
  • Implement process improvements to improve product quality and productivity. Inculcate best practices that have proven successful.
  • Inter Team Collaboration

  • Enable collaboration between the various functional teams and smooth flow of information between various parties.
  • Handover wireframes and business requirements to the UX team. Guide the team through multiple iterations and verification of business goals until the Designs/Mockups are signed off.
  • Handover UI/UX mockups to the Engineering and QA teams with clear explanations of the business goals, customer needs and the expected outcome.
  • Inform and prepare the Marketing and Customer Support teams regarding features and fixes in every release.
  • Handle periodic sync ups with Customer Support team to gather customer feedback and insights.
  • Tracking and Reporting

  • Ability to track multiple threads of activities and do timely follow ups with multiple participants for timely completion.
  • Capture and keep track of action items shared over meetings.
  • Report progress of various initiatives in status meetings.
  • Create and publish minutes of internal meetings and external meetings.
  • Customer Interactions (Good to have skills)

  • Ability to manage conversations with customers to understand their product usage, challenges and needs.
  • Experience in managing client relationships.
