Position: Technical Product Manager, Customer Experience

Reports To:Group Manager, Insights & Analytics

Location:San Francisco or San Jose (but must be willing to travel between offices)

Position Summary:

Adobe is looking for an experienced candidate to join the Customer Experience organization to lead the product management of three important disciplines – NLP Automation, Customer Journey Tracking, and Customer Experience Personalization. We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills with a proven track record of data analytics, business intelligence and developing high quality data products. The ideal candidate has experience in Natural Language Processing applications, A/B testing analytics, Customer growth and engagement tracking, web Analytics, Data pipeline management and ability to work cross-functionally with product teams. The candidate would be responsible for driving a team of data scientists and engineers to establish a robust analytics infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

The Product Manager for Adobe’s XE Platform is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the lifecycle of product and features development, including:

  • Define the product roadmap while making sound tradeoff decisions on short-term and long-term features. Evangelize product roadmap to internal users and customer
  • Develop and drive data platform strategy for Automation, Customer Journey Tracking & Customer Experience & Personalization.
  • Manage analytics requirements in partnership with product teams to ensure instrumentation will satisfy strategy for all new releases
  • Manage engineering team to implement self-serve layer for Automation product teams that help measure progress towards L1 KPIs that are also executive ready for weekly reviews
  • Lead a team of data scientists & engineers to ensure timely and effective product development & releases.
  • Ensure streamline and timely communication about project progress, availability, and reliability with stakeholders
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer behavior across all Customer Experience touchpoints (web, community, social, and customer care) and translate customer behavior to data, KPIs and reports.
  • Collaborate with CX Product team, Data Engineers, subject matter experts, and decision-makers to develop data-driven models to accelerate data discovery, automate insights, and predict future outcomes
  • Partner with product managers, engineering, web analytics enablement, and analysts on A/B testing and personalization strategy to have scalable data approach
  • Act as consultant to product teams on best practices in integration with personalization tools at adobe
  • Study and analyze competitive landscape, industry trends to drive clarity on the platform requirements and priority. Apply knowledge of ML, distributed systems, and data mining.

What you need to succeed:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science/engineering/data science, MBA a plus
  • Prior experience in Product Management role, with applied experience in AI/ Machine Learning software/platforms
  • Experience with machine learning libraries, frameworks, and technologies
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to make decisions based on both quantitative data and qualitative insight
  • Experience in design, implement, and analyze A/B experiments to provide impactful insights
  • Experience in understanding user journeys and ability to identify actionable areas of improvement
  • Experience with modern Big Data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Kafka, Presto etc.
  • Expertise in data visualization, reporting with tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, plotly
  • Strong collaboration skills to interface across the organization
