The Enterprise Infrastructure Product Manager – Storage is responsible for the full physical Storage product portfolio, including the unit cost pricing built up from financial and commercial knowledge, roadmaps, customer and colleague requirements, demand and supply chain management.

What will you be doing?

  • Taking overall responsibility for the success of our Storage products
  • Governance and lifecycle of the Storage product portfolio
  • Product pricing transparency and billing
  • Consumption management (demand & supply side)
  • Contributing towards Storage product strategy and vision
  • Perform product demonstrations and product technical presentations.
  • Meeting regularly with all stakeholders, including consumers, security, risk, operations and architects
  • Collecting analysing and responding to user feedback
  • Planning new features and changes to Storage products influencing the balance of scope-budget-timelines and strategic planning.
  • Gather and analyse data and insight from customers, engineers, service operations, CTO, CDO, finance and others as required.
  • Demonstrating new ideas and features to stakeholders
  • Creating timelines and roadmaps for developing Storage products
  • Attending conferences and events related to Storage products
  • Implementing or supporting marketing campaigns
  • Creating and overseeing development and project management processes
  • Inspiring and enthusing colleagues and users of the Storage products
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders within GTIS and across the technology organisation

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience as a product, technical or business engagement manager who has worked in complex operating environments.
  • Excellent ability to drive high performance through collaboration with multifunctional teams and a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a confident approach and ability to deliver high quality work whilst working in a fast moving sometimes pressured environment.
  • Analytical but with bias to action.

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

  • A good working knowledge of the IT hosting products in the industry e.g. Public/Private Cloud, Enterprise Infrastructure eg. Databases, Middleware, Servers, Mainframe & Mid-range
  • Experienced with the use of ITIL and Service management frameworks or modern engineering practises such as Agile and SRE
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Office Products and Vision to enable the production of effective presentations to complex and business critical problems
  • Experienced with risk and control environments, industry standards and technology regulation
