JOB DESCRIPTION (PRODUCTION ENGINEER): -

The candidates should have minimum 4-5 years experience in Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger manufacturing company/industry.

  • All functions related to Productions on Shopfloor. Production planning and work allocation
  • co-ordination with contractor/ company labour,
  • monitoring of progress,
  • fabrication quality check,
  • co-ordination with Quality Control Department,
  • Shop floor machinery Maintenance.
  • material accounting,
  • Planning for Consumables and inventory control.
  • raising material/ consumables/ machine procurement requirement
  • Maintenance of stage inspection records.
  • daily production progress reporting,
  • management reporting ,
  • generation of QAP/WPS/PQR etc with Quality Control Department,
  • preparation and marking of material plate cutting layout,
  • offering stage and final inspection to internal quality control as well as third party inspection agencies,
  • Co-ordinations with Third Party agency as required.
  • checking and certification of contractor bills
  • checking adequacy of manpower deployed by contractor and entire co-ordination with contractor for job progress
  • If required, take mobilising action for additional manpower deployment.
  • Shop floor working safety/ housekeeping/ discipline,
  • suggestions for improvement in production procedure to economise production cost,
  • overall fabrication material/ labour inputs monitoring to keep manufacturing cost to minimum
  • Ensure timely completions of jobs.
  • to ensure compliance to code /standards/ quality plans during fabrication
  • whenever required take care production activities at company unit at VV Nagar
  • scrap accounting and disposal
  • Any other work as per defined by management
  • Training of subordinates technically as well as for handling shop floor responsibilities.
