PURPOSE:

This position will provide scheduling, indirect procurement, logistics, and materials planning support to the Technology Program and will represent the Technology Program to project stakeholders in the absence of the Project Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the development and review of project schedules in Primavera P6: creates and maintains project schedules and schedule baselines; coordinates Project Schedule meetings to review schedule analysis (Planned vs Actual), project milestones, and schedule health metrics; develop and implement project controls reports (eg. Float Paths, OTD, ADL, etc.) based on requirements defined in collaboration with project stakeholders; assigns and maintains Technology engineering resource data in accordance to Global Work Instructions for S&OP.
  • Coordinates the flow of material components as required for testing and provides high-level planning input to test plans in terms of material flow to engineering and project management; serves as the primary interface between the Technology project team and shared plant services (material sourcing, sales order/demand management, procurement, quality, logistics, warehouse, etc.); communicates project requirements to internal stakeholders; creates and maintains sub-con production orders as required.
  • Executes the Technology Program procurement strategy for indirect components and services in accordance to all global sourcing and procurement policies and financial standards; source and quote indirect R&D services, analyze quotes and issue service expense and subcon POs; tracks open orders and provides status to project stakeholders; collaborates with Global Buyers to expedite orders as required.
  • Coordinates imports and exports functions required for the movement of equipment and materials from domestic or worldwide procurement sources to the jobsite. Manages supplier relationship with freight forwarders and oversees the shipment planning process to ensure all necessary information is captured and properly communicated with external and internal stakeholders.

MAIN TASKS:

  • Executes a successful project and assists the Project Manager & Engineering manager in all areas and phases of the Project; SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost)
  • Creates, coordinates, updates, mitigates, and presents documentation, meetings, presentations, and reports for internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Leads Project Planning Review meetings; communicates project schedule and cost requirements to key support functions to allow projects to progress with maximum efficiency.
  • Conducts and participates in Schedule Reviews within TFMC and with main suppliers as appropriate to ensure that schedule requirements are met.
  • Analyzes the project schedule, monitors progress and highlights potential cost/schedule variances. Recommends Corrective Action Plans for Project Management approval.
  • Assists with the development of Engineering and Project Management CTRs and Resource Plans.
  • Prepares reports- including (but not limited to) client schedule summary and earned value reports, material shortage, open order, open quality notifications, supplier scorecard, project labor, spend forecast, and identify potential cost/schedule variance caused by scope changes.
  • Participates in supplier development, auditing, expediting and other vendors related activities.
  • Prepares TFMC Management Reports such as monthly schedule health checks, project status, and cost/schedule variance (internal and external).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Construction Management, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least six years of related experience combined in logistics, scheduling, planning, and/or procurement.
  • Awareness & interest towards Project Management, Planning, Logistics and Procurement processes, techniques, standards, and able to apply the intent towards Technology (R&D, PLM, NPD) projects; can independently consolidate and analyze information from various sources to develop effective overall project plans for execution.
  • Demonstrate exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills in order to interact with suppliers and co-workers in a team-based environment.
  • Preffered- Advanced understanding of SAP MRP production planning; intermediate computer skills to include Primavera P6, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Power BI; able to quickly learn new software as needed.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor capable of interfacing with internal and external project stakeholders and speak on behalf of TechnipFMC.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the communication process and ensure effectiveness (written, verbal and listening) across functional and managerial boundaries; effective report writing, presentation skills organizational skills, and project planning ability.
  • Action oriented; a quick learner - able to deal with ambiguity, quickly assess and set priorities, and have excellent time management skills; must be able to work and contribute, both independently and as a team member, without supervision.

Work Environment: Office environment with frequent trips to the shop and to other offices in the plant. Some exposure to possible shop hazards including high noise, heavy machine and shop traffic.

Physical Demands: Frequent sitting and operating a computer. Fast paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change. Some travel for vendor and/or client contact.
