Summary:

Project Leaders provide business and technical leadership for one or more projects within the business, leading project teams through the identification, justification, prioritization, initiation, development and implementation processes. The individual will manage all aspects of Sustaining tasks for products on market and/or activities to support Geo-expansion into new markets. Create change tracking system and analyze the CCs. This individual will disposition Change Controls as appropriate and assure approved changes are in compliance with corporate requirements. Will track and receive change controls and quality standards from different areas. Record and maintain change controls and all documentation in the TrackWise system. Maintain and track KPI’s tied to change management as well as provide updates to management on progress. Attend Change Control project meetings and provide QA oversight for these Change Controls. This person will ensure regular communications occur with stakeholders and partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.

• Manage complex programs encompassing research, design and development.
• Track and Maintain Change Controls in TrackWise system. Follow up on outstanding change controls that have been requested to make sure they get closed out.
• Follow up with CC owners to make sure all new CC are completed on time.
• Track KPI’s tied to Change Management and provide updates to department management in monthly basis.
• Understanding projects tied to Change Controls and attending necessary meetings as required to provide change control input/output.
• Ensure that Change Controls are maintained under Baxter quality metrics.
• Anticipates potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and manages conflict situations to result in win-win outcomes
• Displays a solid understanding of theories/practices utilized by other disciplines outside the primary area of expertise.
• Maintain focus on meeting both external and internal customer expectations.

Qualifications.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. List knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

• Previous Change Control experience with demonstrated success leading multi-site activities in the medical products industry
• Hands-on experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tools
• Project Management skills are appreciated
• Strong attention to business aspects
• Strong Communication Skills
• Enthusiastic, must be self-driven
• Metric Focused, understands incremental delivery and the value of metrics

Education and/or Experience.Include the education and/or experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.

• Scientist/Engineering Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical devices / pharmaceutical industry.
