About the team

This role is a part of our OPF – Project Management Team. The Software Delivery Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks to ensure satisfied customers. This role has ultimate responsibility for the project and manages customer satisfaction, definition, planning, monitoring, and other aspects of a project.

What you bring:

• Requires 12+ experience in IT industry and preferably 2-3 years of project management experience. 1-2 years’ experience in the banking / payments industry is a plus.
• Skill in project management, organization, communications, analytical and people skills.
• Skill in leading, supervising and managing effectively under pressure.
• Ability to be comfortable interacting with executive level clients.
• Ability to analyze client’s business needs and determine related information services support.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationship with client.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and problem areas.
• Ability to delegate projects to qualified subordinates as appropriate.
• Ability to lead, direct and manage effectively.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Ability to exhibit solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.

What you will be doing:

• Manages one or multiple projects at the same time.
• Writes, Reviews and negotiates development and support contracts.
• Develops project plans covering scope, cost, schedule, resource ramp-up, metrics and quality aspects.
• Manages the entire lifecycle of the project – inception, design, coding, testing and UAT.
• Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members and manage all requirements accordingly to realize each for the stakeholder.
• Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
• Defines project goals, objectives and milestones. Tracks and reports project goals with pre-defined metrics to stakeholders.
• Coordinates and facilitates work among different groups to achieve project milestones.
• Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals.
• Proactively manage and communicate project status, issues & risks to management.
• Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view.
• Manages change effectively.
• Shows flexibility and maturity in managing globally distributed teams.
