Job description

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, generating enquiries, and acquiring leads for Aluminium and uPVC Doors, Windows, and Facade systems and projects within Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills to establish and maintain strong client relationships while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Drive sales growth by fostering relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and developers.
  • Present and promote company products and solutions to potential clients.

2.Lead Generation and Conversion:

  • Generate high-quality leads through market research, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Convert leads into sales opportunities by understanding client needs and offering suitable product solutions.
  • Follow up on inquiries, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure projects.

3.Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Address client queries, concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

4.Market Intelligence and Reporting:

  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and forecasts to the management team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of 4 to 5 years in the Building Products Industry, specifically in sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong network and familiarity with local builders, architects, and construction professionals
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Uttarakhand
