Job Purpose and Impact

The Assistant Manager Extrnal Warehouse will apply and maintain operations standards and best practices to execute corporate policies and risk control frameworks. In this role, you will follow regulatory standard practices to validate and coordinate inventory activities. You will perform data management, analysis and reporting to ensure compliance and provide data for decision taking.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide input for developing action plans to close gaps between target and actual measures.
  • Maintain data relevant to inventory planning activities including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data.
  • Perform data management, analysis and reporting to provide input in setting inventory metrics targets.
  • Conduct moderately complex audits and analysis on risk exposure and process improvement, and recommend next steps to senior members of the team.
  • Create inventory plans and business review for assigned products or locations.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the management of inventory records and execution of cycle stock and safety stock plans
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA in Supply Chain or related qualification with 6+ years years experience in handling warehouse, engaging loading and unloading activities and inventory Management.
  • Prefer Knowledge of SAP
