BI/Reporting Engineer II

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with the management of the overall BI environment, including configuration, releases, metadata, user administration and standards as requested.
• Create, maintain and enhance Business Intelligence components (metadata, reports, metrics, dashboards). In doing so participate in data modeling, business process analysis, development of reporting functional and technical specifications and most importantly business community review of BI deployments.
• Write and maintain technical documentation supporting BI deployments.
• Provide project status and progress updates to BI Management team.
• Monitor report environment performance, logged errors and activity.

What we are looking for:

Experience / Education

Typically requires 8–10+ years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.

• Having a minimum of 5- 6 years of experience in OBIEE 11g/12c RPD development, Reports and Dashboard development
• Experience in OBIEE 12c is mandatory.
• Expertise in building OBIEE Dashboards: Building Repository, Reports, Answers, Delivers, Agents, BI Publisher Templates & Reports
• Must have worked upon different report designs like tabular, pivot, charts, master-detail, Pie chart etc.
• Ability to think through complex problems/scenarios and identify the key success factors
• Must have worked on creating Users and Roles
• Experience in working upon Console and Enterprise Manager.
• Good Knowledge in data warehouse.
• Good Exposure in Informatica.
• Experience in at least one end to end OBIEE project implementation
• Good experience on Oracle SQL, database performance tuning by implementing Views, Materialized views, creating indexes
• Good understanding of repository objects designed from ROLAP data models, hierarchies, levels
• OBIEE migrations and merges of repositories, web catalogs, upgrades and security configurations
• Drive the analysis, design, and development of new dimensional models and enhancements to current models.
• Test and reconcile designs to source systems and business specifications. This includes understanding business processes and translating them into requirements
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Working Experience with OAC will be an added advantage
• Good experience in Business Model development with Dimensional Hierarchies, Aggregation Navigation, Time Series functions and Level based Measures.
• Implemented Object level Security and Data level Security as per the user’s requests.

should have played a role of BI functional analyst for BI reporting. Should have experience in oracle ERP as a functional consultant. Good to have working knowledge of Power BI reporting tool
