Our institutional clients comprise over 1000 universities, colleges, and biopharma companies, including such leaders like Harvard, MIT, Yale and Stanford. As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented individuals to join our company.

We are looking for a driven inside sales, marketing, or business development professional with a passion for business development to join our pre-sales team. The ideal candidate will be on the frontlines of the outbound and inbound sales and marketing efforts-- filling the funnel with interested prospects, building demand, conducting product demos, and setting up bespoke personal trials.

The Business Development Rep will own all aspects of the outbound lead-gen efforts by making phone calls, writing emails, booking and conducting demos, setting up free trials, responding to inbound requests, and maintaining excellent relationships with prospects. You will collaborate closely with the territory manager for strategy and planning, as well as connecting them with valuable prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a steady stream of valuable leads for territory managers through trials, integrations and product recommendations
  • To achieve this a combination of 100 calls and emails per day will be expected
  • Manage daily inbound requests from marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to advance the sales process
  • Log relationships, touchpoints, trials, and recommendations in SalesForce.com
  • Utilize sales enablement tools such as Balto, Calendly, YAMM, and Seamless.ai

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science field like Chemistry, Biology, Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Sales / Business Development
  • A demonstrated passion for science, education, lowering costs for students, and the belief that video/technology can truly make a difference throughout the educational process
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tell a compelling story in a short period of time
  • Strong organization skills
