Job Profile:

Principal Responsibilities

• Over all experience 7+, have knowledge on Windows, Linux, Cloud admin,
• And good to have knowledge on Qlik Admin
• Configure and administer Qlik Sense sites using Qlik Management Console (QMC)
• Manage data connections and extensions to select and load data
• Synchronize content and users of Qlik sites
• Troubleshoot issues regarding access, data visualizations, display issues, streams, and performance
• Install and configure the development, test, UAT and production environments on various platforms
• Knowledge of LDAP/SAML authentication methods
• Experience with implementing SSL within Qlik
• Responsible for creating User groups and roles to manage security in Qlik and Access Rights of the Reports for the end users.
• Plan and maintain upgrades, patches, and hot fixes for Qlik
• Knowledge in Upgrading Qlik to newer versions
• Monitor the Qlik environment and check the usage of the environment, reports, etc.
• Ensures proper scheduling via Nprinting
• Evaluates the overall system performance of Qlik to meet the business needs
• Strong knowledge of infra automation and configuration, management tools like terraform, Ansible, Jenkins
• Automates Build and Deploy Jobs
• Knowledge of Cloud SDK
• Define and activate tagging, Logging rules
• Knowledge of StackDriver
• Monitor requests and key metrics for cloud resources
• Customize the user experience: Provisioning rules and UI policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve operating system, application, and networking issues in a complex and highly-regulated multi-region multi-cloud environment
• Formulate detailed network, storage, and compute design specifications for stable and secure computing operations in a dynamic cloud based environment .
• Make recommendations for improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of network, storage, and compute technologies.
• Drive operational excellence across our businesses worldwide, achieving this through the consolidation, simplification and continuous improvement of processes across the full range of HSBC operations.
• Should be able to manage multiple environments.
• Collaborate with application packaging team and assist resolving all technical challenges that might be present during integration phase.
• Communicate with the relevant project teams regarding resolving technical / application issues related to delivery of projects.
• Work with Engineering and operations to ensure our environment is monitored appropriately.
• Ensure SLA commitments are met, and escalate accordingly.
• Provide Deployment activities to create & maintain development, test, UAT and production environments in project deployment phase.
• Establish, document and implement the best practices in the end to end application initiation and deployment processes.
• Working for continuous improvement to achieve customer satisfaction
• Should have flexibility as per project needs
  

Requirements

• Good Communication and Interpretation Skills
• Expert in Windows, Linux, Cloud admin
• GCP/AWS skills preferred
• Support and test our highly available Linux based computer platform to support our application infrastructure
• Day to day management and monitoring of Linux hosts and hardware
