To manage and lead a team of supervisors/Operators for all the tasks and issues related to their department (Receiving, Shipping, Distribution).The Team Leader is responsible for directing the daily activities for a specified area (team, group) of warehouse operations, including labor scheduling, supervision and the proper proceeding of warehouse procedures.

Your Role

To manage and lead a team of supervisors/Operators for all the tasks and issues related to their department (Receiving, Shipping, Distribution).The Team Leader is responsible for directing the daily activities for a specified area (team, group) of warehouse operations, including labor scheduling, supervision and the proper proceeding of warehouse procedures.

Your Responsibilities

  • To lead the operations team (Warehouse and Distribution) during the shift.
  • To ensure that all documentation is filed as per operational and company requirements.
  • To ensure that all company equipment is handled and driven in a responsible manner at all times
  • To assess workloads within the allocated team and allocate resources adequately on a day to day basis
  • To ensure that the customers’ KPI’s are met continuously as well as efficiently and cost effectively
  • To observe all company quality requirements at all times
  • To ensure that expenses are kept to a minimum at all times
  • To complete all month end financial processes within agreed deadlines.
  • To actively promote, lead, coach and develop team members using the resources of the company HR framework.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • More than 3 years of total professional experience.
  • At least 1 years experience in a high volume operation as a supervisor
  • Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry and operation of a Customs bonded facility preferred.
