We are an executive search firm looking for the following opening-

Company- is into Printing solutions.it has made customised software for it.
Location - Andheri Mahakali Caves

Position-Database Administrator

  • Manage SQL Server databases
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes
  • Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
  • Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
  • Reporting on metrics regarding usage and performance.
  • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
  • Designing databases with both front-end and back-end users in mind.
  • Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
  • Protecting the database against threats or unauthorized access.
  • Creating, modifying triggers and stored procedures
  • Using records for searching, sorting, indexing, and grouping
  • Ensuring that the database is adequately backed up and able to be recovered in the event of memory loss.

Hands on experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
Hands on experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Hands on experience with triggers, stored procedures, cursors, indexing and grouping
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player & Great time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus
Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
Experience with working in an agile environment.
Industry knowledge of Track and Trace (Printing/Scanning/ Input Output) Application is preferable
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent

"Minimum 3 years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA or similar role
