Role Description:

TriHusLab is on the lookout for a dynamic Design Trainer to enrich our team. This position is perfect for someone who is deeply passionate about melding design with engineering concepts and is driven to make a significant impact on the next generation of innovators. In this role, you will be tasked with teaching a multitude of design, computer, and making skills. Key responsibilities include developing curriculum, mentoring students in their design projects, and keeping abreast of the latest industry trends. This hybrid role offers great flexibility in work location, combined with meaningful in-person engagement with our students and staff. No worries if you’re new to some of the content; we provide thorough training for all areas you’ll be teaching.

Skills & Qualifications:

We are prefering candidates with the following skills. However, if you have strong computer/design/passion for teaching kids we would be happy to have you onboard.

• Expertise in Technical Drawing, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for young learners.
• A solid track record in designing and prototyping mechanical and electrical components.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and programming languages.
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in equipment fabrication and assembly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
