Company Description

Janata Bazar is a Mobile Application for farm-fresh food procured directly from producers. Our aim is to create food-based interdependent communities and strengthen the bond between urban and rural areas. Our items are sourced directly from the farmers, ensuring that they are free of contaminants, fertilizers, pesticides, and genetic modification. We operate in the Kolkata metropolitan area and provide vegetables, fish, chicken, eggs, fruits, rice, pulses, spices, oils, and more, delivered straight from our farms to your plate.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Digital Marketing Executive based in Kolkata metropolitan area. The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing our social media presence, creating and updating web content, analyzing web traffic and user behavior, and collaborating with our team to develop and implement marketing strategies. Some work from home is acceptable for this role.

Qualifications
  • Marketing and Communication skills
  • Experience in Social Media Marketing
  • Web Content Writing skills
  • Web Analytics skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bengali
  • Experience in e-commerce marketing and/or the food industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include knowledge of Bengali language and culture, experience with graphic design software, and advanced web analytics skills.
