Job Description

Key responsibilities/Tasks

Design, implement and maintain firmware for DSPs and micro controllers which are part of our ASICs

Test development and verification of firmware both in simulation and hardware environments using measurement instruments

Creative and supportive in troubleshooting firmware issues reported during development and from customers

Create and maintain automated firmware verification and post processing scripts.

Job Requirements

Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics and communication Engineering (ECE) or Electrical and Electronics engineering(EEE).

At least 5 years prior experience with firmware/software development and troubleshooting on embedded targets such as DSPs and microcontrollers

Good programming experience in C or C++

Test case development and verification for embedded systems

Programming and automation experience in Python is desirable

Handling of measurement Instruments such as Signal generators, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc used for communication systems will be helpful

Software versioning systems like GIT, etc

Skills & Experience

C (Programming Language), C++ Programming Language, DSP Architectures, Electrical Engineering, Firmware Programming, Git Version Control System, Microcontroller Programming, Python
