Finance Manager

You will be working as Finance Manager and will be part of Process Automation business Area for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Business Controller and will be responsible for planning, reviewing and driving all financial activities within the project controlling team. Acting as a business partner to the sales and project operations team, supporting all financial and commercial transactions, including financial, accounting analysis, reporting and actively driving performance. Driving the definition, implementation of standards and business guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in the financial control process.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting the business in adhering to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, country specific finance directives and instructions. Leading cross-functional initiatives that support strategic goals
• Driving the definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in financial control process within their area of responsibility
• Leading, providing guidance and participating or facilitating best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practices
• Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discussing issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for their area of responsibility
• Establishing and driving processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information
• Ensuring high quality of financial data and business information, in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules

Your background

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and CA or ICMA is preferred
• Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant working experience in Project Controlling with proven track record of handling projects of varying sizes and complexity in India
• Good knowledge of accounting and reporting, preferably USGAAP and INGAAP. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong presentation or communication skills together with excellent interpersonal and SAP skills especially in MM, SD, PS and FICO module
