POSITION DESCRIPTION

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Our learning and development experience is designed to prepare the consulting team and entire staff for their current roles and the next level of challenges. It is delivered through a combination of in-person (local, regional and worldwide) and distance learning offerings (e-learning and virtual classrooms).

The Global L&D Service Center is overseeing and managing the participant pools of worldwide and regional training programs, as well as supporting the planning, preparation, execution of various L&D programs and campaigns, including calendar scheduling, program hosting, material preparation, and program and cost analysis.

The Global L&D Team is a dynamic group, constantly required to evolve with the needs of the business. This means that roles are flexible and vary depending on global priorities. The duties of this role will change in the same way but initial allocations and focus of the role are likely to be as follows:

  • Management of participants, from initial registration and invites, to final attendance
  • Communication with participants throughout the entire learning program, including cancellation requests, and logistical questions
  • Own the work and understands the importance of tasks that come with it
  • Independently host virtual live sessions from session opening, welcoming the participants, introducing the presenters and final closing using Zoom and related platforms (including but not limited to: polling, Q&A facilitation, and chat management)
  • Administrative and analytical support including scheduling and setting up trainings in our LMS, pulling and interpreting reports on participation and attendance as well as feedback from the sessions.
  • Presenter management: scheduling of presenters, coordination of presenter briefing and preparation
  • Maintenance of training database: updating participant status, registrations and cancellations, inputting presenters, updating presenter status, inputting presenter hours.
  • Management of invoicing process and 1st level controlling of invoices.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to understand their need and build effective working relationship

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Strong customer focus; responsive to queries in a consistent manner and with a sense of urgency
  • Confident working in an international environment with participants from all over the world, team workers, collaborative, be part of an international team
  • Possesses excellent organization and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities effectively, meeting deadlines
  • Works cooperatively with other team members, displaying a high level of motivation and enthusiasm for tasks
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop effective working relationships with BCG staff
  • Excellent English skills: written and oral communication
  • Accuracy and attention to detail; experience double-checking and cross-checking own work
  • Ability to write slides, to produce tables and graphs in Powerpoint as part of standard reporting
  • Ability to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential
  • Displays high standards of professional behavior and ethical standard

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Undergraduate degree, studies in management, IT, or communications
  • 5-8 years of relevant work-experience, preferred in HR, L&D or event management,
  • experience from a professional services firm is a plus
  • Experience with working in a virtual environment is a plus.
  • Exposure and hands on experience in LMS (SABA, Successfactors, Adobe..etc) or any HRMS system
  • Ideally international experience during studies or professional employment. Awareness of cultural differences and willingness to adapt workstyle to a multi-cultural environment

YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Global L&D Senior Coordinator is a member of the Global L&D Service Center, which is part of the WW Learning & Development Team. It is a “virtual, global training team”, located in different BCG offices. Individual is part of the Delhi Global Services offices.

It is a fast-paced, intellectually intense and service-oriented environment. The position works closely with the Learning & Development Program Managers, Directors and other relevant parts of BCG.
